← Back to Info CentreDouglas law firm M&P Legal continues to have its advocates recommended in ‘the Legal 500’ one of the leading independent UK legal directories and considered to be the ‘who’s who’ of the legal profession.
In the newly published 2015 edition M&P Legal’s advocates Christopher Murphy and John Aycock are recognised as leading individuals in their areas of work and a number of the firm’s other advocates are recommended for their expertise.
The Legal 500 directory rankings are based on independent research and analysis of data from a variety of sources including peer and client comment and testimonials. Advocate John Aycock has maintained his position as a leading individual in employment law in the Isle of Man and M&P Legal continues to be ranked in the top category for that practice area. The Legal 500 notes that Mr Aycock advises on high level departures for both employers and employees. M&P Legal’s Counsel Chris Brooks is also recommended by Legal 500 for his unfair dismissal work. Advocate Christopher Murphy is rated as a leading individual for commercial work where the M&P Legal commercial team is described as “superb” and “led by the very approachable and supremely efficient Christopher Murphy.”
M&P Legal is also recommended for dispute resolution work noting that its advocates deal effectively with a broad range of litigation. Advocates Aycock and Brooks are recommended for their dispute resolution work and M&P Legal Counsel Damian Molyneux is noted for his insolvency related work. Further recognition is made in relation to private client and trusts where Christopher Murphy’s work on complex high value receivership matters is also singled out for mention.
