The AEA International Lawyers Network of which Douglas based law firm M&P Legal is the sole Isle of Man member has announced that it has achieved 2,331 member offices globally with every independent country in the world now covered. It is believed that no other international legal network association has achieved such an extensive reach globally.

The network had its origin within the European Union but over time, has been steadily expanding to all countries beyond. All of the world's main city commercial centres are covered meaning that many of the countries have more than one representative office. Firms seeking membership of the network must satisfy selection standards based on high levels of professionalism, competence, and efficiency of service. The members gather annually at a congress which this year will be held in Athens in May.

M&P Legal's joint managing director and head of the firm's commercial practice Christopher Murphy says that "the firm's membership of the network has provided an excellent conduit for the exchange of information, ideas and new business with the most diverse professional legal community possible and we make good use of it to spread the message and raise awareness about the Isle of Man and its attractions as a place for international business".
