Significant cases
C v D
Successfully resisted an application for strike out/summary judgment in respect of a claim to enforce an order for financial provision on the divorce of the parties made by the courts in Dubai, UAE. The Court concluded the application must fail as there was doubt whether the sum sought was correct or subject to variation.
Lloyd v Ayres - Application for leave to bring a claim under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1982 out of time.

Mueller v Parc Aviation Services Limited – Successfully pursued a debt claim on behalf of a pilot against the Defendant and resisted a subsequent appeal to the Staff of Government Division. The Defendant had withheld payments to the Claimant due under contract during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Hillberry Trust Company Limited v Gautrey & Harrison – currently acting for the First Defendant in respect of a long running claim for alleged misuse of confidential information and breach of non-solicitation clauses.

Personal Injury
Various claims, acting for both Claimants and Defendants in all aspects of personal injury work including road traffic accidents (involving catastrophic injury), accidents at work and occupier’s liability.
Notable cases include:
De Yoxall v Moore – currently acting on behalf of the Claimant in a long running personal injury case in which the Claimant suffered a traumatic brain injury in a RTC.

Has appeared in Court for all aspects of family litigation including, divorce, maintenance, contact and residence disputes.
Commercial & Corporate
Advised a wide range of companies in all aspects of commercial and corporate law including restructuring, shareholder disputes, share sale and purchase agreements and shareholder agreements.

Extensive experience in all elements of private client work including; will drafting, applications for probate, advising executors and Trustee as to their responsibilities and powers of attorneys
Criminal
Acted in variety of criminal matters, including advice at the police station and representation at Court. Matters advised in respect of include bribery, historic and recent sexual offences, manslaughter, drug offences, theft and driving offences. Notable cases include:
AG v Dr Palotas and others – assisted leading counsel in successfully challenging a charge of gross negligence manslaughter at committal related to the death of a patient whilst undergoing surgery at Noble’s hospital.
